About LUTKA

LUTKA is the baby of a couple of bargain hunters and lovers of art, books and travel.

LUTKA means puppet or little doll in some Slavic languages.

LUTKA is also the first name of a female artist from the 20th century ( Lutka Pink ).

This name therefore evokes both the soul given to matter and the invisible poetry of the threads that animate the world, but it also echoes a line of creative women who have often remained in the shadows.

LUTKA creates poetic jewelry and unusual lamps.

LUTKA jewelry, crafted from porcelain, delicate and light, is designed as poetic fragments vibrant with emotion.

Porcelain, which is rarely used in jewelry making, is actually a less fragile material than other clays because it is fired twice at very high temperatures, which gives it greater strength and brightness.

Our jewelry collections are available in different poetic universes – Nymphéa, Oysteria, Les Perlées, Amulea, Abyssalia – and draw their inspiration from the treasures of Nature and Art.

LUTKA lamps, known as Les Lumineuses, are designed and created in their entirety.

To begin with, there are old globes from different eras, found at flea markets and second-hand shops, like endless treasure hunts.

Then comes the reflection on how to give them a second life, by including them in a new, luminous story.

Some globes bear the traces of time, small marks or slight injuries that tell the story of their journey. Readapted and integrated into a new creation, they become all the more unique, like fragments of history that continue to shine.

Each lamp-sculpture is an evocation of a character from a novel or an artistic figure.

If, in the stirrings of the creative process, a dialogue is created between the foot and the globe, it is ultimately an entity that emerges through the alliance of sandstone and glass.

A Les Lumineuses lamp is the meeting of the body and soul of the character it embodies.

All our pieces are modeled, textured, glazed and assembled by hand.

Each piece is unique.

Owning a piece of LUTKA jewelry or lamp means choosing to inhabit the beauty of the singular and giving a place to the sensitive in your daily life.
